Poodles have been habitually in the top ten preferred dog breeds now for years. The North American Dog house Club recognizes 3 differing kinds of poodles. These types are the standard poodle, the tiny poodle, and the toy poodle. These differing kinds are differentiated by size, with the size boundaries set by the AKC. The tiny poodle must stand at least ten inches tall, but less than fifteen inches tall at the shoulders. These dogs are made by the crossbreeding of 2 different thoroughbred dogs.
