Toy Poodle - Facts Each Owner of this Dog Breed Should Know.

There are three sorts of Poodles : Toy, Small and Standard, each type implying a size. The Toy Poodle lives a mean twelve to fifteen years. To be considered a Toy Poodle, its size can only be up to ten inches with a weight of six to nine pounds. Without consistent coaching, Toy Poodles will become willful, independent and may bark a lot. Toy Poodles love to be around others, but can be reserved among strangers, making them good watchdogs. Some Toy Poodles are thought to be high strung and will snap. This doesn't mean a Toy Poodle doesn't make an excellent family pet. This breed has lots of energy, but doesn't demand a lot of exercise, making it a good selection for flat dwellers. One of the first dog breeds that I ever snapped was a miniature poodle.

as quickly as we might finish our session off he would race with no sign of difficulty. The poodle is actually a fabulous kind of dog with some superb qualities.

So they are in reality hypoallergenic and do not shed. Poodles are very perceptive and take well to coaching. Poodles are a robust breed and live between ten and eighteen years and in a few cases up to twenty-one years. Like most big dog breeds, standard poodles need a good quantity of exercise but are comfy in just about any size of home. Of the three sizes, standard, small and toy, standards are thought to be the most flexible. The 1st reference to Poodles being good swimmers was in 1642 ( the Poodle was originally bread as a water retriever ). The familiar Poodle Cut was essentially important for the dog when it was employed for hunting.
