Though some fight the claim, France is officially recognized as the origin of the Poodle. To be considered a Toy Poodle, its size can only be up to ten inches with a weight of six to nine pounds. Toy Poodles are thought to be clever and are among the simplest to train. Without consistent coaching, Toy Poodles will become willful, independent and may bark a lot.
